Our Story

We’ve been enjoying wine together for 45 years. From Zeller Schwartz Katz in college to the Shiraz craze of the 90’s to fantastic homemade wine from the Italians around New Haven, CT to our own homemade wines and once we were well and truly hooked, to the famous wine regions of France, Italy, Spain and every winemaking corner of the US — we’ve loved all of it! Winegrowing is our passion and we have the audacity and just enough crazy to believe we can make premium wines right here in the heart of Tennessee.

Today, our vineyard is not only a place to enjoy outstanding wine, but also a gathering place filled with laughter, friendship, and the beauty of East Tennessee’s Sequatchie Valley. We’re so grateful to welcome you here and invite you to raise a glass with us among the vines.
